7 Best Cocktail Bars in Winter Park, FL

After spending over eight years living in the great city of Orlando, I have grown to love this vivacious and vibrant place located in the heart of Central Florida. With whimsical sights, eclectic dining, and multiple entertainment options such as theme parks and attraction hubs, Orlando has a ton to offer for just about everyone! With this city being one of the most popular vacation destinations around the globe, (Universal Orlando Resort, Walt Disney World, and SeaWorld), this town has grown exponentially and with that comes even more dining and restaurants as well. Thousands of guests travel here each year to visit the popular theme parks and attentions, but what about those nights when you want to stay out just a little bit later?

One of my favorite places to explore in Orlando is located just north east of the city, Winter Park. A cute and quaint district ten minutes from the downtown area with a fun selection of shops, restaurants, bars, and wild nightlife. Whether it's after a long day at work, happy hour with the girls, or a cute date night, you're sure to find the perfect spot to relax and unwind for a while, and with some delicious drinks! A rustic, cozy themed spot and one of my favorites in town, this place definitely lives up to the hype. With its large menu and vibrant selection of enchanting cocktails, small bites, and unique appetizers, it's a must-do if you're in the area! Tip: make sure to order dessert- you won't regret it!

Located in the North Mills shopping district, this contemporary chic bar is perfect for a relaxing night out with some friends or even a romantic date spot. A cozy atmosphere accented with black fuzzy couches, oversized chairs, and lo-fi music, this hip bar also serves delicious appetizers and happy hour elixers nightly alongside Japanese style fare.

Still holding the title for "best restaurant cuisine in Orlando", this trendy spot is sure not to disappoint. An All-American style menu offering a large selection of comfort dishes including hearty bites, mouthwatering appetizers, full main courses, and traditional cocktails, this quaint yet modern bar downtown is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of life.

If your taste happens to be more outside of the box, be sure not to miss this unique spot located in the south end of Winter Park. Located inside the East End shopping district of Winter Park, this restaurant and bar rises up into the top of my list for best experiences in Orlando. Offering a small selection of dainty cocktails and traditional Asian style fare, including their famous ramen bowls, sushi dishes, and sesame chicken wings, you're guaranteed to find something that you love! Tip: happy hour is available every night of the week, as well as at the second location in the Dr. Phillips area of Orlando!

Also located on the popular Mills Avenue, this minimalist themed bar has one of the best happy hour menus in the city. With its cozy, natural vibe and colorful plant lined decor around the space, the atmosphere here is always warm and inviting. Choose a drink, sit back, and relax indoors or on the sun filled patio outside.

Serving up a large primarily Spanish inspired menu, this eccentric bar offers small tapas, authentic fare, and delicious homemade cocktails (my go-to is the mango). Choose from one of their house made sangrias or mimosas, and grab a spot outside on the deck for a gorgeous view of downtown Winter Park.
